Tarksthal is a word formed by joining Tark (तर्क – means logic, reason, reasoning, rationality, rationalising… ) + Sthal (स्थल – means the site, location, venue, place, scene, situation… )

Tarksthal (तर्कस्थल) is envisaged as a place for discussing development planning concepts. It intends to promote as well as utilize opportunities for improving knowledge.

Tarksthal (तर्कस्थल) encourages professionals in the field of development planning & infrastructure to share their experiences and knowledge towards pursuance of excellence and betterment of society.

Tarksthal is promoted by Abhishek Agarwal, a planning & development professional with pan India experience in various sectors.

Adept at looking at the bigger picture, he has been associated with various policy advocacy & strategy critiques, sector researches and numerous programmes & projects, right from the stage of conceptualisation.

Abhishek is experienced in creating, leading and overseeing multidisciplinary teams for result based planning and delivery backed with risk assessment, allocation and mitigation measures for projects and programmes in multi-sectoral and multi-cultural environments.

Currently associated with NITI Aayog, Government of India, in the capacity of Senior Specialist (Director) for Infrastructure Connectivity, some of his key recent associations include GIZ, UNDP, and IL&FS in various capacities, across various development sectors in over 100 projects and programmes.
